Troy has more than 51 years of public accounting experience. He specializes in tax preparation and planning, as well as compilations, reviews, and preparations for a wide range of industries.
Prior to joining George W. Smith & Company, P.C. (GWSC) Troy worked for a local CPA firm in Tallahassee, Florida and in Southfield, Michigan. He joined Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC (AHP) in 2020 when GWSC merged with AHP.
Troy graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
Troy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He is a Past President of the Huron River Club. Troy currently serves as Treasurer for the Birmingham/West Bloomfield Gideons and Shepherd King Lutheran Church. He previously served as Treasurer for Operation Able of Michigan.
