Steve’s experience includes eighteen years with the Grand Rapids office of Ernst & Young where he served as a principal. He has led AHP’s Grand Rapids office since its inception in 2003.
Steve has served a variety of industries such as financial, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, higher education, service, and not-for-profit entities.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over thirty-five years of extensive experience providing financial, tax, estate and succession planning services for entrepreneurial entities, their owners, and key executives.
Steve graduated from Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in accounting.
Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Economic Club of Grand Rapids. Steve is actively involved with the Michigan Bankers Association, as well as an associate member of the Mid Michigan Banking Group.
