Dan began his career with the Rehmann Group and was promoted to principal before joining Burnside & Lang, PC. Burnside & Lang was integrated into Andrews Hooper Pavlik in 2009.
Dan graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.
Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He is a current board member of CBM, Inc., and the Midland Rotary Foundation. Dan is a current member and treasurer of Good Shepherd of Midland. He is also a past board member of the Midland Chamber Foundation and the Midland Chamber of Commerce.
