Randy has more than 29 years of auditing, accounting, and financial reporting experience. In addition to his CPA, he is a Chartered Global Management Accountant® (CGMA®). He leads the firm’s financial institution practice and is the executive in charge of the audit committee, compilation committee, Allinial Global and AHP Financial Services.
Randy began his career with Ernst & Whinney in Little Rock, Ark., and transferred to the Saginaw and Lansing offices of Ernst & Young in 1992. He has been with AHP since its inception in 1993 when he started as a senior accountant. Randy was promoted to manager, and senior manager before earning his position as partner in 2001.
Randy graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science.
Randy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He serves on the MICPA Financial Institution Task Force, the AICPA Financial Institutions Expert Panel, PKF International’s Financial Institution Task Force and the Community Banking Advisor editorial committee. Randy is also actively involved with the Michigan Bankers Association and the Community Bankers of Michigan.
